How new technology drives successful Talent Management

April 29, 2010 by · 1 Comment

Managing talent is quite a challenge. In order to be successful in attracting and developing talent, you need to ensure adequate interaction between people, processes, culture and leadership behavior. And in larger organizations you need to do this consistently across regions and divisions.

Sure, you could keep track of your Talent Management by using yellow Post-it notes  (but I have yet to see that work).

The new Talent Management IT-platforms that are now available actually do add a lot of value. They help you link all activities in the employee life-cycle, from hiring and recruiting all the way through the exit process. They help you drive and monitor performance. They help you ensure HR-related compliance. They help you align your HR processes. And they increase administrative efficiency so that you can spend time on more strategic issues.

If I cannot convince you, why not have a look at:

Software isn’t the answer to everything, but it sure can make life easier.

I noticed you mentioned some companies, but wanted to add the one that we use at our hospital too. HealthcareSource has been invaluable to our community medical center. They have a great white paper download you might like at http://www.healthcaresource.com/bestpractices?pmc=SM-01
    Thanks for the great article!
